Got this terrible back, neck pain, numbness on feet and hands from my Mercedes-Benz C300 Sedan that won't go away. I can't rave enough about Dr. Wahl and his staff. From the moment you walk in the door to when you leave - the staff is warm and welcoming as well as very involved and very informed. The office is run very efficiently and there is minimal waiting between services. I have been to MANY chiropractors and none are as thorough as Dr. Wahl. He's not just a Dr that fixes the symptom, but finds out what the underlying issue is and starts immediately correcting the issue. I was already feeling better after only one adjustment - its been years since i have felt even close to this sort of relief. It's a little pricier than your 'regular' chiropractor, but as they say - you definitely get what you pay for. Dr. Wahl uses techniques that other Chiropractors do not - and tracks your progress with x-rays (in office) takes the time to call you on his down time to check in, and goes over your x-rays with you. Both Dr.Wahl and the staff are always asking if you have any questions and don't treat you like a number. You are greeted by name as soon as you walk in the door. I have already recommended him to several friends and will continue to do so.

If you came across this review. I hope you find it useful! I am not new to Chiropractor services. I started in 2019. I wasn't as in-tune with my body as I am now! I came to Dr. Kory with the main goal to improve as an athlete. I didn't come with pain nor complaint. The adjustments and rehab (Cornerstone is the only place in the city that has rehab component) help me with weight training (continued progressive overload) AND improved my recovery. Other benefits I am already seeing is no hip clicking (we did not adjust my hip but adjusted pelvis). Also, significantly reduced strain on one side of my back. Overall, I am extremely satisfied and I know there is more progress to come. Cervical and lumbar curves already showing improvements (confirmed with x-rays). It's important for me to know that what I am doing is working and Dr. Kory goes through my adjustments and results thoroughly to ensure I get the most out of this. Also, his team, are all positive, kind and very passionate about what they do. You can feel the energy radiating as soon as you enter their doors. They are also fantastic with babies/kids while you get adjusted (my 1.5 year old didn't want to leave). One other important point to note. They all continue to learn and continue to challenge themselves. This one is crucial in my books. I walked in hopes of becoming a better athlete but I am walking out with so much more.Update 2025 - I am still coming and they are more advanced now with a keyfob to sign in via simple tap and begin your exercises while waiting for your appointment. They don't stop evolving. Very efficient and helps with my busy schedule!

I wish I could rate this place higher, Dr Corey is the only chiro I will go a see! I was having major hip issues and was recommended surgery, after a month of treatment with Dr. Corey I'm have no more hip issues. They approach chiropractic as one part of a holistic wellness approach.They are the only Chiropractic office who explicitly want to solve your root issue with a plan that has a start and an end date. Other chiro's seem to be resigned to treating symptoms in perpetuity.The presentation in the evening went a bit long but the information was good. The care plans were explained but not all the options were presented. Make sure to be honest and upfront about what you can afford with your time and money. Cornerstone Family Chiropractic is a place of healing like no other. I’ve been going to Cornerstone for almost 2 years, and I wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else. The staff are incredibly welcoming, the atmosphere is very therapeutic, and Dr. Kory is a big hearted chiropractor that truly aims at helping heal his clients. Is Chiropractic Care Really Effective?

Our active daily lives can lead to structural misalignments in the body. Over time, these problems can worsen, leading to acute or even chronic pain. A Chiropractor is trained to identify where these misalignments are, and use the appropriate chiropractic adjustment to bring the body back into alignment, reducing pain and allowing the body to operate and function at its optimal performance. Chiropractic care isn’t only effective; it is touted by many of the most successful world championship athletes and gold medal Olympians as one of the most critical parts of their health and recovery program.

Are Chiropractic Adjustments Safe?

Chiropractic adjustments involve a trained Doctor of Chiropractic manipulating the various vertebrae and making minor adjustments to bring the body back into its natural alignment. Depending on the specific situation and the individual patient. The doctor might use their hands to complete a manual manipulation or a tool or instrument to assist in the adjustment. A common misconception about Chiropractic Care is a concern about the “cracking” sound and whether it is safe. However, during a chiropractic adjustment, no “cracking” actually occurs. In reality, the sound comes from cavitation, which is the release of built-up pressure within the joints.

How Does Chiropractic Care Work?

Chiropractic Care is based on the principle that your body performs and operates optimally when in proper alignment. Your central nervous system runs from your brain stem, through your spine and to your various body parts and organs. Therefore, an unhealthy spine can lead to a host of problems, pain, symptoms and other issues. At Cornerstone Family Chiropractic, we work with our patients to identify and correct the source of the problem, ultimately alleviating any symptoms, so they can get to living their best lives.

What Should I Expect On My First Visit?

Upon your first visit, our Winnipeg Chiropractors and our Chiropractic Technicians and support staff will discuss your current and previous health history. This step is to get a clear and accurate understanding of your overall health and how we might be able to help you. Also, during your first visit, you’ll have a one-on-one consultation with the doctor, a complete chiropractic examination and a spine assessment. Depending on the circumstances, X-rays may also be required. Following this, we will share our complete report of findings, and if required, we recommend a practical results-driven treatment plan.
